Worgen ate my baby!

Worgen are cool. They can be so many cool classes. Can't be shaman though. I think that is bullshit. Why is it so many of the Horde can be shaman but only 2 races (both of which I don't really like) on Alliance can be shaman. Bearded midgets and space goats. Oh goody. I think worgen should have been made to be shaman. I've heard all the BS of why they can't be, but I have one HUGE reason why I think they should. Wolf. Shamans are huge into wolves. And HELLO! what the hell are worgen??? Yeah... So let's trade... priest for shaman. Every race can be a priest. I think that's weird. Really can't see the big bad wolf being the holy healer type. I can see him being a shaman though. Not just because I want to play a worgen shaman. But really, what I think should be law anyway. Because, well, why not!
So I have 2 worgen now. I went from having none, to 2. An Unholy Death Knight named Merrex, and now a Demonology Warlock named Vestorath. Vest is only level 12. And I have to say that the starting quests for the worgen are OK... But... I really wouldn't want to run them all the time for multiple toons. First worgen was a DK, and as we know the DK starting zone has its own pros and cons. But I have to say I enjoyed the DK stuff more.
Of course this all makes me curious. What are the goblins going through? I might have to make a toss away toon just to see what the goblin starting quests are like.
OK, well, I am going to go. I have quests to do, dungeons to storm, professions to skill up, and items in the auction house to relist I'm sure. Damn cheap bastards! Buy my AH fodder! I need gold... much much gold!

Have a fun day and remember not to be a douche in game.

Damn those Death Knights

When I first heard about Death Knights I was of the mind that the class was a cheat. Starts at 55! When you get out of the starting area you're at 58! And with full blues! Plus I'd seen them fail as tanks in dungeons and I saw hundreds of them running around PvP servers. So I did not like them...
That was then.
This is now.
Merrex, a Worgen Death Knight on Llane. I love wolves! Have since I was really young. I saw American Werewolf in London when it was still a new movie. Scared the crap out of me as a child. And I loved it! I always cheered for the Big Bad Wolf. He should have devoured those damn pigs! So when I told friends I had gotten the Cata expansion and had not made a worgen, some of them asked who I was and where the real me was being held. Not that they wanted the real me back. I'm sometimes a real bastard. So I finally decided I'd make a worgen. But I already had a hunter, Azlaeth, a night elf. As you might have noticed since this blog is all about him and my adventures in WoW. What class would I make my worgen? Druid? Had one, was now bored with him, why make another one. Rogue? nope. Priest? Sorry, but a big bad ass wolf should not be a squishy healer. How about a... Death Knight? It looked cool as I went though making the toon. Sure. Why not.
And Merrex was given life. I had already read all about the starting quests for a DK and soon had cleared them all and was free from the Lich King's will. And already I was... well... really enjoying the nasty ass powers that a DK can call forth. I don't do tanking, so I was told by a friend who has a DK not to use the Blood talents. After looking at Frost and Unholy builds I decided I'm more of an Unholy type. I guess having a pet ghoul is like being a hunter. I still was not completely sold at this time. But I had to admit, maybe my prejudice towards DKs was a bit hasty.
OK... long story short. I've gotten him to 61 and he has become my second favorite toon. No one will replace Azlaeth as my favorite. But Merrex is AWESOME!
So to all the DKs out there that I have talked down to... my bad. I'm not into saying sorry so be happy I gave it that much.

OK.
I also made a promise to myself. Until another toon hits 85 I will not use Azlaeth. And so it looks like Merrex will need to level quick.

And a note not WoW related. My son, Ian, graduated from 5th grade today. Heading to Middle School next year. If he survives that, then he might have a shot at surviving High School. Fun fun.
I got him Plants Vs Zombies for the DS as a graduating gift. Now he'll stop playing mine so I can play. LoL.

Have fun storming the castle.

Last minute Edit. Here is a picture of Merrex. He got that sword last night. It's cool.

Shall I...

Not making any promises, but I think today I shall kill something. And maybe even fish. I know. Not very specific am I.
Sorry, I got distracted by a young half naked female on TV. What was I saying?
Oh yeah. Today I am going to do something on WoW. Not sure what. It won't be noticed by anyone. It won't be some chant or title like Jenkins. It's just going to be me doing something.
You at this time are probably wondering why do I bother posting this. And why did you bother reading it.
Well, I doubt any of you actually did read it so no sweat off your nut sack (or not, you might be female)...
But with that I am off to do that thing.
Last minute note: Being able to put your toons in order is going to be a good perk. I've also read about Valor Points being turned into Justice Points and something about Conquest Points. That Blizzard is basically forcing people to play ranked Battlegrounds. I've been reading several blogs bitching about this or that. Mainly PvP. I don't PvP. So it doesn't really piss me off. And sadly I have not done a random dungeon, or a raid in weeks. I'm in a funk. Plain and simple. And it does effect my game time.
Sorry, distracted again. This time by the cell phone.
If you want to read up on some good shit. OK, not shit, some of you might not know that shit in this meaning isn't a bad thing. You guys need to get laid, or at least leave the basement now and then. But I follow this person on Twitter.  @wowcynwise or go to the website

I am off now. Later

Working on my warrior

My Fury Warrior, Wulfguard is only level 28. As of this moment. He's a human. But don't hold that against him. It's not his fault his parents were shaved apes. I was going to go with the whole Arms Warrior deal at first. Swinging a huge ass 2-handed weapon. Making people shit themselves when he drew forth his huge weapon of death and dismemberment. But instead I chose to go with the weapon in each hand fighting style. Why? Not sure. Usually I'd go with the 2-hander. I figure I'll dual him as an Arms. I'm no tank. I don't want to be a tank. I have tried to be a tank and found it to be dull. Press the same buttons over and over just to make sure the big nasties keep beating my ass, all the while hoping the healer keeps healing me. Being told to pull more at once, and then after we wipe being told I pulled too many. Make up my mind people!
For his Profs I chose Mining - always a good one to make some coin with. And Jewelcrafting - cricket cricket cricket... why?? I have no idea why I chose Jewelcraft. I'm still low enough on the skill that I could change it. I might. Maybe Blacksmithing. Or maybe I'll go with another gathering prof just to sell everything in the AH. Skinning. Or Tailoring. Easy to gather cloth from people I kill and make some bags and all the crap for squishies. I really need to make up my mind though.
One thing I have noticed about playing a warrior is this - man they have a lot of shit to put on the action bars! How do level 85 warriors keep all that shit in order? Where do they fit it all? I'm already picking through my abilities trying to figure out where to shove the crap. And I'm at 28!
Oh well. I'll figure it out.
But back tot he game. I'm going to go get him the Singing Sunflower vanity pet. I love that thing!

A family trip on a boat

Here we are, Me, one of my many wolves, and Onyxian Whelpling, all heading somewhere on a boat. I think we were heading to or from Northrend. Not really important. This was the day I realized I had 10 wolf types. Did I get rid of some? No. I like wolves. I don't really car about rare pets, I got the one I wanted, Skoll, because he looked like a wolf. I also got blue skinned Madexx because I like scorpids and he was cool looking. But as for rare pets. I'm not going to sit there and wait hours or days for the hopes that some pet I'll never use will spawn near me. Let's face it hunters, most of you farm the rares just for some stupid status. For the show of it. Look what I got! That's all it is. I've actually abandoned several rares I've found with stupid luck. Yeah, they were cool to have, for about a day. Then it was just taking up room in my stable for more wolves. Sure, one wolf, or two can be enough. Only so many useful ways to set up their talents. I really don't go with what people tell me is the best way to set up my pet. "no man, don't put points into that talent" blah blah blah. Builds for DPS for raids. Builds for DPS for solos. Builds for DPS for... whatever! I turn off Growl and Taunt when I go into a dungeon or raid. Otherwise, piss off and stop telling me how to run my toon and my pets. Jackass!
I like mostly Ferocity and Tenacity. I think I have one Cunning, a chimera. I had 2 chimera. One was a purple, rare, found him by accident. But I liked the looks of the green/brown chimera more. So bye bye to the rare purple. I never use Cunning. I kept that green/brown chimera only because someone told me I should have at least one of each type. Cunning is good for PvP I guess. I hardly PvP. I used to use Tenacious pets for solo. I still mainly solo, but now that I'm grinding for rep in zones with low levels I hardly need a Tank pet. So I've gone back to all out DPS with my Ferocious pets. Yep, you guessed it. Wolves! Sometimes a Core Hound. I love those 2 headed badass. Of course when I pop into a random dungeon I use Ferocious, with growl turned off. I love it when a Tank bitches that I left growl on, and I turned it off. Not my fault my pet is better at it then you. I used to hear that from DK tanks back in Outland all the time. Sorry, DK tanks have shown me that they suck ass. And blame everyone else. Especially at levels 60-65. And by level 60, I knew enough to turn off growl. You moron.
Side rant - as we have all had the misfortune of running into ninja-bitches in dungeons and raids. I want to just say this one thing. Healers who ninja because they threaten to not heal you or res you if you say anything about them being a ninja. Fuck you. I'll complain. I'll kick you. I'll wait half an hour for another healer. I am sick and tired of tanks and healers thinking they can boss the rest of us poor DPS around. Might suck if I start pulling EVERYTHING in bow range, and then feigning death. Leaves you with a lot of aggro bitch! Sure, makes me the asshole. But only because you made me into one. I'll even whisper to the other party members and tell them my plan. Some of them might have some spells to get out of harms way too. Leaving you to get your ass kicked, and you can bitch, and then leave, and we'll wait for your replacement.Squishies that NEED for plate and mail... or Tanks that need for cloth or leather... I hardly ever need, even if its for something I do need. I ask before I need. I pass on most blue items I can't use just because I don't want to win a greed roll on something I'll just end up selling. Guess that makes me a nice guy. And we always finish last. I've run a lot of dungeons. And some of them I come out with nothing at all. Because I passed on it all, and lost rolls. Oh well. It's just when people ninja, or pull the "I'm more important so you'll do what I say"...
Listen to me going on about the bullshit of WoW. When a game gets so frustrating that it no longer is fun, that's when you need to stop playing. At least take a step back from it. Maybe rethink how you handle all the crap others will throw your way. Will you get even with them? Or just say screw it and leave? I've done both. I will, for my own sanity (what little I have left) usually leave the party. These people I'll hardly ever see again. They are from other servers. I don't have to worry about them on Llane. Keep the assholes on their servers.
Llane isn't bad. But like most servers they have their rankings. Players who've done it all. Guilds who have done it all. I know several players on Llane who have at least 6 level 85 toons. It is a PvE server. I know, I've heard it all. PvP is for hardcore players, PvE is for pussies. Whatever. I've done the PvP on other servers. I got tired of getting my corpse killed by some idiot 10 levels higher then me. I just wanted to farm mats or finish a quest. I got tired real fast of the bullshit. So yeah, I play PvE. I'll leave the PvP for battle grounds and arenas.
OK, I'm done for today. It looks like some nasty weather heading my way. I might log out for a few. Have a good day and remember not to be an asshole to other players. Or at least stay off Llane if you are.

Azlaeth and Eronous. Yes, for now I am using a gun. I am trying to get a bow or crossbow. Call me old fashioned, but in a game with magic and knights, having guns is just kind of silly. I only use it because it was the best thing for DPS I could get. But like I said, working on a bow or corssbow to take its place. Anyone who knows me knows I like wolves. A LOT! I love wolves. Have since I was a kid. Why I have 6 wolves tames, and I went for the spirit beast that looks like a big nasty wolf. I'm just pissed I can't get a wolf mount as Alliance. Stinky orc bastards!
And as you see, Azlaeth now has crabs. I wonder if it would be a Druid or Priest spell to get rid of them? LoL.
And on that note I am going to bed. Goodnight all.
Azlaeth the Hunter

Multitasking...

Watching Kelly's Heroes while I grind for rep. Fun fun. Kelly's Heroes has got to be one of the best movies ever. It's one of my favorites. Kelly's Heroes, Blazing Saddles, Army of Darkness, The Hangover, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter movies, and The Shawshank Redemption. Some of my all time favorite movies. Books... I've read too many to list. Seriously. I read Hobbit and LOTR when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade. Since then I've read easily over 1000 novels. And I am not going to list them all. No way.
OK. Tonight's WoW experience was dull. Grinding for Rep. Seems like that's all I do lately. I'm doing the rep for Cata and WotLK first. Then I'll do Vanilla. Last I will do BC. I just really don't like BC at all. If I had to choose one zone in Outland to be my favorite, or the one I can tolerate the most, it would be either Nagrand or Shadowmoon Valley. Nagrand is visually nice. Green and friendly looking. While Shadowmoon Valley is a wasteland of terror. Great place to farm for just about anything.
At this time I'm also forcing myself to keep my eyes open. I put on a new pain-killer patch today and that always makes me want to pass out. It's the only high I get to enjoy. So every 3 days I put on a new patch and I get to feel funky. Oh yeah.
Tuesday (June 7th) is my birthday. I'm going from 35 to 36. Yeah, I'm old. But I don't like to act it. Not in denial. I just don't want to be a stuffy adult. I still like to color with Crayons and shoot Nerf guns with my son. I tried to get him into WoW, and he liked it for maybe 5 minutes. But then he realized there's a lot more to it then Wii, Xbox or PS3 games. Maybe when he's a bit older we'll try again. But then again he's already a video game junky. Maybe I shouldn't add yet another one to the list. And we all know how time consuming WoW can be. Playing for days on end. Thinking it's still Friday night when actually it is now Sunday afternoon. LoL.
But I think my birthday gift to myself will be that Winged Guardian mount. Tonight I got one of the mammoths from the Sons of Hodir. Not the big expensive one, the cheaper one. I still have to rep up for the big one. Also trying to get exalted with the walrus dudes so I can get the penguin. Penguins are cool! And I am slowly doing the dailies for rep with Baradin's Wardens. The have some mounts and weapons I'm interested in.
Talking about weapons... and armor. Ran some randoms last night and I was just annoyed. Everyone but me was disenchanting the blue drops. And the blues were good for agility (hell, hunter here!) and I was trying to be nice and not needing everything, though I did need it since it was better then my gear. So I rolled greed. And lost Every Damn Time! Pissed me off! Next time, fuck it. I am needing it. If they call me ninja I'll point out it's agility/stamina gear. Hunter gear. I'm a hunter. If they don't like it, they can kick me. Fuck them. I'm tired of being the nice guy in randoms and coming out with bags full of junk! And since I'm not in a big guild I can't ask my guildies to help run me through. Sometimes I consider the whole guild thing. I use mine mainly as extra storage. I should keep my bank toon in as GM and move my main and alts to another guild. One with actual people in it who play. My friend is in a big guild. I just don't want to join and be pushed to the back of the list every time since I'm the new guy. I had that happen way back. Why I'm hesitant about joining another guild of big bad ass 85 elites. Has anyone else had the bad guild experience?
Well, I think I am done for the night. My eyes want to close and Kelly's Heroes has like 5 minutes left. Sleep, and then start the whole process over again.
Let us know what was your worse guild experience, and your best guild experience. We need some positive to equal out the negative. You don't have to list the name of the guild, if you don't want to.
And my last thought tonight is that show Toddlers & Tiaras is disgusting. Those mothers should be shot. That sort of shit pisses me off.
OK, goodnight all. Happy hunting. Or tanking. Or healing. Or whatever you do.
